I am currently reading a recently published book, which turned up on the new book shelf at my local library, by the well known author Francis Fukuyama. It is entitled "
American at the Crossroads, Democracy, Power, and the Neoconservative Legacy".
I'm about half-way through and so far Fukuyama has proven himself to be a excellent writer, who elucidates his points clearly and in a sensibly organized fashion. Also, at the beginning of his book, Fukuyama provides a brief history of neoconservatism in America, which was very informative.
So far I don't see any reason not to recommend his book.
