My Blogger stats indicate that most of what little traffic getting directed here comes from frankviola.org, which is curious since Frank Viola hasn't been blogging about anything since May 11th. But howsoever people get directed here, let me say to them thanks for visiting.

As I said back on May 30th, I don't think Blogger's format is best for presenting lengthy text. However, Google's Sites does provide a way of presenting text that is easier to navigate. So to the sidebar here, I have added a link to Exhuming The Mantle, my unfinished crime detective novel, which I expect will catapult me to heights of literary fame if I ever get it finished. But really, I am being facetious, for I doubt anyone would want to read it. Back in April, I did write a short essay, with the same title, about some curious videos available on the Internet. Afterwards, the idea for the story came to me by imagining what would happen if anybody got really serious about digging up past "mantles." And indeed in church history, people have literally gone about digging up things and distributing them as holy relics.
